I thought the scene with Wilf and the Doctor in the cafe was beautiful. Easily my favourite scene since they bought the show back. The rest of it was trying too hard to be epic, save for the odd moment or two.
Bernard Cribbins is really a very good actor. Why hasn't he had a knighthood yet? *starts campaigning*
I quite liked the Master, but then I expected to. I very much liked the scene with him and the Doctor when he made him hear the drums. Before he flew off, that is.
That actually was kind of interesting. I was hoping for more of reason than the Time Lords, though I suppose there could be more on the way. (If this is all somehow the Black Guardian's doing, then I think I'll find it in my heart to forgive quite a lot.)
