Oh, hello! Welcome to the mumble mumble-7th chapter of my almost interactive blog-memoire. We’ve hit the last bit before my regeneration, which was-

[Uncomfortable five second pause. The Doctor looks to the right, off-camera.]

-Well, all things considered, it could've gone a lot better.

[Cut interval. The Doctor is now sitting in the same spot, but looking a good deal older and less glum.]

Of course, having a psychotic regeneration in the mix opens up all sorts of difficult questions. Do you spend your next regeneration on damage control? Push it off til next Wednesday? Not to mention having to apologize to the Ood, and all that mess about the Master. And there’s no way to go back and fix it all without starting the business all over again. Winner indeed, and all because I-

[She stops talking abruptly, and clears her throat.]

-At any rate. The official chronicles of my last few days are hidden in the UNIT files somewhere, ask the Brigadier to dig them up for you. I’d rather not go into it again.

[Cut back to the first age at which we saw her, still distracted looking off-camera.]
