ladyoftimeOnce upon a time there lived a Lady. No princess, no damsel in distress with hair of gold and eyes sky blue, she was every inch a knight. She wandered country after country as she pleased, aiding villages in danger, advising kings and millers alike.
She had no enchanted sword to fight dragons and ogres, no shield bearing her crest. Her steed wasn’t black and fiery or white and noble. Those who saw it often mistook it for a common plough horse, but in the Lady’s eyes it was a magnificent creature.
She rode always onward and lived ever after.
