SWEET SIXTEEN!

For this occasion, the TARDIS ballroom is decked out with banners and all manner of things that are strangely appropriate and much better than anything the Doctor could come up with. (The TARDIS decorated it herself.) There's food everywhere, with a certain tilt towards strawberry-banana smoothies, bananas, and jelly babies, and those little finger foods on toothpicks. There's even a banner that says "HAPPY BIRTHDAY" on it, and "SWEET SIXTEEN". (The 'hundred' was tactfully left out.)

The birthday girl herself has a strawberry-banana smoothie nicked from one of the tables and is now eyeing the decorations with a certain amount of confusion.

It's possible somebody forgot her birthday. It's hard, what with all the time-traveling and relative timelines. Good thing the TARDIS is here to take care of it! :D

{Right, so, birthday party post! This is going to be a load of multi-fandom meta goodness, so don't worry if you're in a community Eleven's in or anything. Just show up and bring presents. The Doctor likes presents. :D}

Someone seems to have left a set of Drat cards and a leather-bound copy of Winnie the Pooh (http://www.amazon.com/Winnie-Pooh-80th-Anniversary-Milne/dp/0525477683/ref=pd_bbs_1/105-2390576-8481236?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1191199258&sr=1-1).

She doesn't seem to have stuck around, however. She's not much for socializing, really.

Sarah's there. Somehow. Of course she's there. This is the Doctor's party, after all.

And we all know how much Sarah cares for the Doctor. Unless this is Milliways!Sarah, but it isn't, so...

She has a gift: a small potted bush of daisies. What? It's as good a gift as any -- daisies make the perfect travelling companion. They listen, they don't run off, and they are, of course, rather pretty to look at.

The Doctor, wearing his best celery, enters the ballroom - the TARDIS had a ballroom? how did he forget that? - with a small package in his hands.

When he sees himself - herself, rather? - he grins and gives a jaunty wave.

Sarah's a bit surprised to find herself back in the TARDIS. Especially when she spots her younger self in the room.

Still she's got a wrapped present in her hands - a mix CD containing her favourite feminist anthems, so she figures she might as well stick around and give it to the Doctor along with her congratulations.

The Doctor manages to stumble by, briefly, to drop off a pair of fashionable Italian leather shoes. These are much like the pair he found himself wearing his first day, though unfortunately he was unable to find another top like the one he was stuffed into.

Ace couldn't help but poke her head into a few of the rooms of the TARDIS before following the music to the ballroom. It was funny to see what was different and yet how much remained the same in 600 years. The colour pink was new, for sure.

It had been a royal pain thinking of a present to bring. What do you get for a Time Lord who was a habit of collecting odds and ends across the universe. She finally decided on a charm braclett, pleased that the tiny phone booth looked similar to the TARDIS. The miniture can of Nitro Nine had been made by a friend. There was also a small sax and a dragon.

The Master refuses to die until he's stolen that giant jelly baby. He's plotting in a dark corner, drinking pink champagne with a sparkler in it.

"Hello old girl." The Doctor patted the console of the TARDIS as he passed, glad to see that his oldest friend was still doing well. Still playing her old tricks too, making the ballroom the first place he looked for it.

He carried a bag containing a green velvet jacket (http://www.debenhams.com/images/products/lrg/2236643830_LRG.JPG) not unlike his own, but tailored for the feminine form he apparently would be regenerating into some future time. For good measure he had added a box of Jelly Babies. One could never have enough of them.

*He doesn't really do parties. He's not terribly good at presents. But he's trying. Does he get brownie points for that?.

The "Sweet Sixteen" banner makes him frown.*

*handwaves being in Paris*

Oooh. Party. Not often Tegan gets to go to them anymore.

Either the 5th Doctor's Tardis doesn't have this room, or she's never been in it. It's rather impressive, and she stands for a moment staring around, a small gift-wrapped box held by her side.

And there is another version of the Master at the party. He'd rather not be there; in fact, he'd rather like to think he has something very important to do. Of course, he doesn't.

Instead, he actually feels rather paranoid and is doing his best to stay away from most of the crowd.

"Happy Birthday, Doctor." Jo brings with her, a wrapped box - very well wrapped because she's good at that - with shiny paper. Inside she's saved some of the chocolate biscuits she made, in case this Doctor still likes them.

And in slides the Doctor.

Quite literally, as he appears to be covered in a bright purple mud.

He looks a bit dazed, but he does have a box under his arm---wrapped in water-proof cellophane.
