"Um, Doctor," Ianto begins helpfully, or at least as helpfully as he can muster when he isn't, in fact, wearing a shirt.
"Oh," she says. "Again?" Then, to no one, with her arms spread, "Again?"
Ianto stops trying to shield himself with his hands and crosses his arms. It's a lot easier and covers more, in retrospect, and he thinks he made a good choice.
"She always gets like this," the Doctor grouses, and Ianto gets the feeling that she hasn't really noticed him. "I said we could go somewhere nice," she carries on, continuing a conversation he hadn't seen the start of, "but you'll have to unlock the controls first, you know. Ianto sighs. The Doctor doesn't notice. She turns, still talking to herself, and heads back into the hallway. "You should probably lock your door," she adds, just as Ianto is about to reach for the knob, and by the time he realizes she was speaking to him, she's disappeared around a corner Ianto has never seen before.
