RP for James Norrington ([livejournal.com profile] bestcommodore)

With a sound that could be described as 'VWOORP VWOORP' and a small wind coming from seemingly nowhere, a blue police call box materialises at precisely seven o'clock. The Doctor bounces out to find her passenger for the night, one James Norrington, who did not present himself immediately.
"Jamie!"

"Nothing, nothing. I'm sure no one will notice it. Much. I just thought you might be more comfortable in something else."

...And now his common sense is kicking in, and he sighs. "Very well. I shall be back momentarily." And he strides off in direction she indicated. When he returns, he will be dressed more normally, but in just as many layers. Because layers are good.

It is better, she has to admit. The man has an obsession with layers, apparently, but she can't talk.
At any rate, she drags him off to the snappily-titled bar and gets them in with the use of psychic paper. (It's amazing how fast she manages to find herself a banana daiquiri, especially considering that they aren't, technically, served here.) "What'll you have, Jamie?"

"Brandy." He does have a bit of a layers problem. That, or he's still wary of the tickling.

She catches the bartender's attention, and Jamie is soon served his brandy. She'll get him to try something more interesting later.
"What'd you think of the TARDIS?"

He sips it like a gentleman. She's never going to get him to de-layer and submit to ticklishness at this rate.

"It's very...interesting. What is it, precisely?"

"Brandy, like you asked for. At least, it should be." She peers into his glass worriedly. "Isn't it?"

"I meant the TARDIS." He gives her an amused look.
